The Best Asian Business Awards are dedicated to furthering the mission of the Carolinas Asian-American Chamber of Commerce (CAACC) by recognizing and celebrating the outstanding achievements of Asian-owned businesses in the Carolinas. These awards honor businesses and individuals who exemplify excellence in entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership, and who contribute significantly to the economic growth and cultural vibrancy of our community.
Through these awards, CAACC aims to promote and support Asian-owned businesses by shining a spotlight on their successes and inspiring others in the community to strive for excellence. The Best Asian Business Awards showcase the diverse talents and contributions of Asian entrepreneurs and professionals, reinforcing the importance of their role in the regional economy and fostering a strong, supportive network of Asian businesses across the Carolinas.
Important Deadlines:
Nominations for the Best Asian Business Awards will be accepted until September 16, 2024 at Noon (12:00 PM). After the nomination period ends, voting on the nominees will open to the public on September 17, 2024, and close on September 24, 2024. Winners will be selected and notified in advance, with the official announcement of the awardees taking place at the gala on October 5, 2024. Awardees will receive a plaque, a complimentary ticket to the gala, and a free membership at the Carolinas Asian-American Chamber of Commerce (CAACC).
Nominate Asian businesses in the following categories below.
Businesses may nominate themselves or be nominated by others. Eligible businesses must be located in North Carolina or South Carolina. Businesses may be nominated in more than one category. To make a nomination, please enter the business name below.
Best "Small Business of the Year"
Businesses must have less than 100 employees.
Best "Established Business of the Year"
Businesses must have been in business for 10 years or more.
Best "New Business of the Year"
Businesses less than 2 years old.
Best "Corporate Ally of the Year"
Corporations with 101+ employees.
Best "Nonprofit of the Year"
e.g., charitable organizations, arts and cultural organizations
Best "Food Business of the Year"
e.g., restaurants, caterers, snacks, beverages, desserts
Best "Retail Business of the Year"
e.g., grocery stores, online retailers
Best "Health, Beauty or Wellness Business of the Year"
e.g., nail salon, hair salon, health coach, doctors, dentists.
Best "Professional Services Business of the Year"
e.g. accounting, insurance, marketing, information technology
Best "Young Entrepreneur of the Year"
Entrepreneurs must be under 20 years old to be nominated.
